Responsibilities:

• Process planning for existing, upgraded or New Aluminium components required for 3WH e.g. Crank case, Cyl Head, Cyl Block etc.
• Select / propose new manufacturing facilities for manufacturing Aluminium components. Negotiate and finalise the proposals, arrange procurement and coordinate the commissioning of the same for smooth productionzing.
• Product development / Process productionizing through existing manufacturing facilities.
• Shop / cell Layout modifications, improvements in material handling systems in the manufacturing shop etc.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants should be Indian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
• Full-Time positions available.

Should have good knowledge of Manufacturing and Inspection (quality monitoring systems) of Aluminium components.
Should be able do analysis defects and failures in Alum components, using techniques like PFMEA etc
Knowledge CNC machines and their systems, including cutting tools. Exposure to high speed machining would be preferred.
Should know various manufacturing systems used in Machine Shops i.e. Turning, Boring etc..
Should have the knowledge of fixturing, and assembly tools.
Should have innovative approach for productivity improvements.
Should have knowledge of product / component costing etc.
Exposure and knowledge of techniques such as TPM, Lean Management, JIT, Quality & Environment Management systems (QMS, SHEMS etc.).
Should have good communication and negotiation skills.
Should have exposure of using MS office latest softwares.
Basic knowledge of CAD / CAM will be an added advantage.
