Responsibilities:

• ŸCustomer care
• ŸOperations of the travel desks at Taj Malabar,
• ŸOrganizing and conducting tailor made package tours, for inbound and domestic groups and free individual travelers
• ŸSales Revenue Accounting and preparing revenue generated reports, cash transaction reports and reconciliation on daily basis.
• ŸAccountability on product quality and standard of services of the Travel Desk.
• ŸMonitoring Fleet Standardization as of the Taj Standards.
• ŸChartering assignments to staff on duty and also for chauffeurs.
• ŸProduct quality and standard of services of the Travel Desks.
• ŸResponsible for the sales, turn over and profit
• ŸTracking Customer feed back on a monthly basis and preparing reports based on the same
• ŸRate negotiations with the suppliers
• ŸResponsible for the travel arrangements of the packages promoted by Taj group of hotels
• which includes accommodation, food, sightseeing, airport and inter hotel transfers
• ŸMeeting travel requirements of the conference delegates at Taj Malabar and
• negotiating rates for the same
• ŸGenerating corporate business
• ŸResponsible for the airline crew transfer from the hotel to the airport and back

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a gaduate in any source preferably or Bachelor of Hotel Management in travel & tourism, Commerce, Science & Technology, Airline Operation/Airport Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): word, excel, internet.
• Preferred skill(s): customer service, good looking.
• Required language(s): English, Hindi
• Preferred language(s): Tamil,
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants should be Indian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
